Parent-child reading rewards Scheme
Parent-child reading scheme: The purpose of the parent-child reading scheme is to encourage parents and children read books and complete reports together, and hand them in on Monday or after holidays. With this scheme, the school hopes that parents can guide their children to get into the habit of reading.
~ Parents and their children can read books from local libraries, the parent-child library at school or purchased books at the home.
~ After reading a book, parents are invited to help their children complete the reading report in sequence.
Ha Sui Wan Reading Club (from K1 class to K3 class): In order to strengthen children’s interest in reading and to enhance their reading ability, the school will distribute reading kits in mid-October. Parents are encouraged to record children’s read aloud performance. The reading kits will be distributed every Wednesday and are expected to be returned to the school the following Monday.
In the opening hours of the library, parents are invited to school to share stories with children.
This event is held every Wednesday, from 4:00 p.m. to 4:25 p.m.
